Ordering Process
Quick Response: We aim to provide quotes within 24 hours, whether your request is simple or detailed.
Compliance Check: If we identify any potential issues with DDA compliance during the quoting stage, we’ll promptly inform you and offer guidance.
Order Confirmation: Orders must be confirmed in writing. When placing your order, please include your required delivery date.
Artwork Approval: Before production begins, we will send you a proof of the artwork for approval. Please note that any changes requested after manufacturing has started may incur additional charges. If needed, we can integrate braille into your existing designs
Accepted File Formats: We accept artwork in various formats, including EPS, PDF, AI, and PLT.
Materials, Sizes and Colours
Rowmark
- Rowmark Colours: View available colours here
- Standard practice: 1.5mm substrate (panel) with 0.8mm applique (tactile lettering)
- Braille Options: Clear (RNIB preferred), white, or black
- Sheet Size: 610mm x 1220mm
Anti-Glare Acrylic
- Thickness: 2mm or 3mm clear matt-face acrylic
- Can be supplied with braille and tactile details printed on the face and reverse, or without print on the reverse for you to add
Aluminium
- Thickness: 1.5mm, 2mm, or 3mm
- Available in anodised or powder-coated finishes (matt finish for DDA compliance) in any RAL colour
- Can be supplied with holes or VHB tape on the rear
Modular Door Signs
- Slatz or Slim Slatz from the Spandex range, manufactured in-house
- For other systems, we require them to be supplied to us free-issue for braille or braille/tactile application
Reverse Printed Acrylic
- Can be print-matched to Pantone colours
Powder Coating
- Modular Door Signs and Aluminium Signage can be powder-coated in-house to any RAL colour, in a matt finish to maintain DDA compliance
Sizing
- Tactile lettering should have a minimum cap height of 15mm
- Braille is 6.35mm high per line with 10mm spacing from middle bead to the middle bead on the line below.
